Basic Member

Open to anyone interested in hypnotherapy.

An annually renewable membership level for Hypnotherapists who are actively working in the field. This membership comes with a Certificate with Registration number, monthly practicing support sessions, a welcome pack and ability to use the HNZ logo on your website. Registered members are required to have yearly ongoing Continuing Education Credits, Supervision & Insurance.

*Note: 'registration number' status refers to registration with Hypnosis New Zealand. This is not a government issued registration as it is unregulated in New Zealand.

Regulation in New Zealand

Currently there are no regulations regarding offering hypnotherapy in New Zealand so it is up to the individual to choose to align with a self regulating body.

We require a high standard of entry to become a registered member holding a practicing number, which helps us align with different organisations wanting to safely incorporate hypnotherapy into their list of offered modalities.
